My kids might not enjoy it as much as I do, but a photo opt at Christmas and Easter in their new dresses is something I enjoy. This year we sent our cards out after Christmas as a "happy New Year" card. I may just start a new tradition ;) Less stress and not so crowded at the photo shop to pick up my cards.
