Going downtown during Christmas time is always a treat. If its just to see the lights and get hot cocoa that is blast too. This last Christmas we got to see the lights and go to the Christmas concert at the conference center which was
very good. It was hard not to get a little (or a lot) teary eyed.
Singer Alfie Boe performed with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's Christmas concert. Amazing! A Wonderful
story was told of an American war hero who dropped parachutes of candy and
chocolate to the German children from his air craft. Then the real 92 year old man was
presented and everyone stood for a standing ovation and real parachutes
with candy were dropped. Sweet moment!
