Zoo Time

Fall and Spring are my favorite times to take my kiddos on a zoo trip. The weather is great, the zoo "smell" isn't as bad. There are hardly any crowds and the animals are more active. (probably because they are not so miserably hot) We hardly ever try to get to the zoo in the summer.  However there is a fun bird show that they do in the summer so every once in a while.... ;) It would be great if they would do that show in the fall and spring. 

 Last fall we hit the zoo this time with out friends Nat and Joe and their cute family. The kids had a fun time.

 The polar bear was probably the kids favorite thing. He just kept on swimming right on past them at the window.

Nate looks calm now, but once he spotted that bear eying him he got worried ;)
