Tonight for our family home evening we told the story of the christmas orange. We gave a lesson on charity and giving to others. We focused on the real meaning of christmas, and how it makes us feel inside when we give gifts to others instead of receiving and asking for presents for ourselves. This year we got a list of toys needed for the children at Primary Children's Hospital. We took our list and the girls had fun finding the items at the store for the children at the hospital.
"Sharing what we truly value is the true spirit of Christmas. Our Heavenly Father gave us His beloved Son. May we, .. find ways to share His love with others.."
