I am one of those people who loves cute crafts and scrapbooking and gardening and great recipes and great decorating ideas and good deals. The list goes on and on. On the other hand I am also one of those people who needs inspiration for most of those things, which means I am really good at copying other peoples great ideas (not so good at coming up with the great ideas) and for that they inspire me to get creative. My friend Brooke has this great blog that gives me a lot of great inspiration and ideas to spark some creativity.
Anyway, Brooke got this great idea (view hers) from a pottery barn ad (who doesn't love pottery barn) of a beautiful centerpiece and she decided to make her own. Well I also loved the idea and "copied" the idea and made one of my own. ... That is my long spiel for these lovely pictures to follow! ;)
-This one is the center piece from Pottery Barn

This is mine! I love it! I picked magnolia blossoms because I LOVE THEM. These grow every where in the mid-east (east, where I am from) They don't grow well here although there is a lady down the street from me that does have one in her yard. Its a BEAUTIFUL tree!

Where do you find inspiration? These magnolias are not real they are just silk flowers, but they look like the real thing. HERE are some pictures of some real ones I took pictures of when I went to Nauvoo and they were in full bloom.
