The 4th of july weekend in full of events. The hot balloon festival is one we enjoy going to. It starts early in the morning, but it's worth getting up for. This year my parents were in town. Since they are early risers anyway it was easy to get up and get going. Plus I know he is a Darth fan, and it was the first year that the "Darth" balloon was going to be there. We got lucky! We even got storm troopers in costume ;)
