After some tears, blood and drama Kassidee thinks its pretty funny that she has lost her tooth. Kassidee has also learned what (or who) the tooth fairy is, so that is pretty exciting too. She spit her first tooth down the drain. It fell out while she was brushing her teeth. When she spit blood there was the screaming. I tell you I thought that she had fallen and gotten seriously hurt. When I ran in the bathroom and asked her what was the matter.... "I lost my tooth". Well I was relieved for sure. I also couldn't help chuckle a little too. So then I said (with great enthusiasm!) You did!! WOW! Kassidee thats so exciting. When I asked her where her tooth was, she said (as she was crying) I don't know!!! Thats when I figured it went down the drain. We swished and spit and then she realized the tooth fairy had to tooth to collect. We took care of that. ;)
So the second tooth..... I picked Kassidee up from school.
Kassidee: Mom, my tooth is so wiggly
Me: It is? Well if it falls out just remember that its ok. Its not scarry, there will be blood. We will just swish and spit again and it will stop bleeding.
Kassidee: I know I will be brave this time.
......
As soon as we get home she runs to the bathroom and not 5 min later the screaming again and here comes Kassidee running down the stairs.
Oh you cant help but laugh right? We swished and spit and since this time her tooth was still in her hand we were able to put it under her pillow for a proper tooth fairy exchange ;)
